hiya before i begin i want to say sorry for the graphic nature of this post!i was having intercourse with my partner and we both noticed things get extremley wet, afterwards my partner told me that he had what looked like thick goo(sorry, sorry, sorry)around his parts,it was'nt anything to do with him as we never got that far due to it hurting me to much i was wondering if i could of lost my mucous(dont know how that is spelt)plug at that time and labour is coming or it was just one of them things he also said there was white stuff on the top of it.i don't have any vaginal infection and haven't had any pains or leakage i'm only 34+5 wks so its quite concering, any advice will be greatly appreciated, and good luck to all you ladies and your wikkle or big! bumps.
It's hard to say...it COULD just be his goo mixed with your goo...I remember things being alot gooey-er (soory for MY graphics) when I got farther along with my first pg.
I almost doubt it, the mucus plug usually has blood streaked in it, I guess not all the times from what people have said, but when I asked my doc, they said not likely, it will not be like goo, it will be more like a wad of mucus, with blood in it, it is hard to describe lol, but it just sounds like someone just got extra ummmm wet lol, I don't think you have anything to worry about, not only that if it was your plug, that does not mean labor is right around the corner either, I lost mine around 34 wks with my daughter and was induced 3 days before due date, as my cervix was not ripening, nor opening. good luck
Hey...When I lost my mucus plug it was like a big snot ball with a little pinkish color to it...And I called my doctor and discribed it she told me to go to the hospital and get a stress test just incase I go into labor, and I did, but they said I was too early (34 weeks) so they gave me Brethine...And they told me that sometimes you go into labor right away and there have been times where some women don't go into labor for 2-3weeks after losing it...Well I hope that helped! Good luck...
