Question Over the counter meds and preg??
I am 22 weeks and 5 days and I have a horrible chest cold. And not to be gross the mucus is green in the morning, but not neon green darker green. I dont want to bother my Dr. when I know he will probaly say I cant really take anything for it. So has anyone else had this and did they take over the counter meds that helped? My cough hurts and my chest feels tight and really harder to breath. As the day goes by my chest isnt so tight feeling when I cough but it still hurts. Really I need something to break up the mucus in my lungs so I can get it out. Any suggestions would be helpful. Hope everyone else is feeling well..

My Dr gave me a list of over the counter stuff I could use, I don't have it with me, and I would recommend you check with the Dr. Just call the office and the nurse will tell you what you can take, since not knowing your history. But I know Tylenol Cold was on there, Sudafed and one of the Robitussons. Goodluck, hope you feel better.

Call your doctor...green usually means there's an infection somewhere...
