Thumbs up Re: Back Labor

Hey..I had back labour with my daughter, it has nothing to do with the sex, it has to do with how the baby is facing, if the baby's face is facing up, then it's spine is rugging against yours, and normally a baby is delivered face down..this is where back labour comes from....the friction between the baby's spine and yours causes back labour

Hope i helped

Re: Back Labor

If you're only 14 weeks, then chances are, you're just feeling the pressure of your growing baby on your back. Doesn't mean you'll have back labor. I think every pregnant woman's back hurts at some point. Anyway my son was face up too and I had back labor but labor in general isn't that bad...not for me anyway. I mean yea it hurts but gees nothing like what I saw on tv

Re: Back Labor

Hey girl!!
I hope by the time you read this post you are feeling better. I asked my sister (who had a baby 1 yr ago) about the back pain thing and she said the same thing as Lynndewald. There is probably more pressure there since the baby is growing. Dont worry!! If it gets worse just call your doctor or go to the ER.

Re: Back Labor

Thanks!! I gave up trying this last month. Its to stressful to chart and temp and bd on these exact days. LOL! Now we just bd when we want and thats it! Id prefer a stress-less conception to a stressful one anyday! The good thing is we know we CAN get pregnant since it has happened before...
I was just wondering, what made you think you were having back labor? Can you describe the pains? And does it feel better/worse if you lay down?? Are you still having the pains?
Hope you are feeling better now!!
