Re: dentist visit

I've been to the dentist during this pregnancy & got a full updated set of X-rays. My doctor said it was absolutely fine to get the X-rays. My denist was absolutely fine with giving the X-rays.

Since you haven't been in several years, they'll surely want to X-Ray you. They have a vest you have to wear. As long as you're wearing it, you're fine.

If there's any dental work that required meds or putting you to sleep, you'd better check with your doctor.

Re: dentist visit

I went to the dentist a few weeks ago andhad x-rays taken which all they did was double up on the vests that lays across you. But one thing they did mention is that if you do need any cavities filled or any other work they always like to do it during the 2nd trimester. I would check with your doctor just to be safe

Re: dentist visit

I work for a dental office and have been in 2-3 offices in the last 3-4 yrs. none of the dentist I work for would do any xrays unless there was a problem and we get the ok from the pts OB/GYN. But thats not to say that all dentist are that way, just the ones Ive worked for.
