Exclamation Twins / Early Signs - Anyone???
Is anyone pregnant with twins/multiples now and can help a girl out with early signs of twins/multiples?

I am currently 28 weeks with twins. My ONLY sign was my 20 week ultrasound that showed them in there. Up until then, no one had any clue. We never heard two hearbeats and didn;t see two on any previous ultrasound.
I guess I'm bigger than other women at the same point in their pregnancy, but Ive still only gained 12lbs.
Sorry I can't be of more help, sometimes there just arent any sighns.

I was told at my 8 wk (1st appt) that my uterous was the size of a 10-12 week and it was either multiples or nothing. Had an ultrasound at 10 wks and only saw 1 bambino! I did a bit of research during the 2 wks time and with multiples you can have a worse time w/ morning sickness. But there is alot of women that don't know until midway thru, so no guarrentee on signs. Goodluck!

My doc thought I had twins because my hormoans levels were 3 times the level that they should be Sometimes much higher hormoans levels can indicate multiple births. Another sign can be an enlarged uterus.

I was told at my first visit last week 5 weeks that my uterus was enlarged... so i was curious. Thanks!

Did they say whether they would be doing an ultrasound to confirm? I know that 2 week wait for my ultrasound was tuff!

Nope I got in to see the nurse/midwife person pretty early... I haven't met the ob yet. She mentioned the large swollen uterus but said no worries... and this was last friday and then ordered me in this wed. for blood work. Should I ask then? Just so you know this is my first and I know NOTHING so I didn't think anything of what the midwife said - until my good friend said oh I wonder if you are having twins... and then I tried to forget about it - LOL! sooooo kidding but wow a little much to take in. hee hee.

should i ask for an ultra sound because i do feel bigger than i should be right now and it is very early. I have a consistant slight pain in my lower stomach area.... nothing to worry about it is just uncomfortable to sit / when I lay down I feel better after a while and my feet are CONSTANTLY cold... I live in the south and its HOT down here... feet are never cold.... but now they are all the time.. FREEZING.

I never felt anything diffrent i just got an instant positive pregnancy test just feel a little more tired then i did with my other two pregnancys not much else so far
