Exclamation Tender right side of belly

I am about 2 months pregnant and I woke up last night with the right side of my stomach so sore like I had done sit ups. I pushed on it and it was really tender. But my left side is not like that. Is this normal? Has anyone ever experienced this?

Talking Re: Tender right side of belly

Are you sure you dont have an ectopic preg? I did and ended up having my right tube removed... Are you bleeding with the pain? Just to be safe you should go get checked, better safe than sorry!!! Please get back to me..

Re: Tender right side of belly

Hi -

As has been said, your right sided discomfort could be an ectopic pregnancy, in which case the pain will steadily increase and you cannot ignore it. If you still have your appendix, you could have appendicits. Either way, you need to talk to your doctor today and perhaps be seen in the office. If the pain increases, just go to the office or the hospital ER.

Wishing you well - Barbara

Re: Tender right side of belly

The same exact thing happened to me. It felt like my whole side was bruised. I called my doctor and to see if I need to be seen and she stated that it is probably my uterus expanding. It did go away after a day and a half but it was a little scary. If I were you I would still call your doctor to be safe. Good luck.
