I dont have a period anymore and I have read up on if its possible to ovulate w/o a period and everything says you can. Well, my question is how exactly do I know if I'm ovulating? I think its when I am having a real heavy pain in my lower stomach? Like when I get up or sit down it hurts real bad and that white stuff from you vagina?
Why do you not have a period anymore? It's common to have some cramping with ovulation but by the sounds of yours it does not sound normal to be in that much pain. Usually your cervical mucous will be clear and eggwhite consistancy when you are ovulating.
Although I personally don't do it, I hear that the temperature method is very good... you take your temp at the same time every day with a very accurate thermometer and at the time of your ovulation, your body temp will be slightly higher than normal. I don't use this method b/c its a lot of charting, you have to keep it at the same time every day (i.e morning). I usually use the mucus method, or an online ovulation calculator.
I am only 19 and I have been to so many docs and they all tell me Im okay. I stopped taking bc about a year ago and havent had a period since. I am overweight so I dont know if that has something to do w/ it but thats all I really know to say about why I dont have a period.
