Shifting pelvic bones?

i went to turn over last night in bed and my pelvis sort of shifted and kind of made a popping sound. Anyone else have this happen?

Re: Shifting pelvic bones?

Yep. I've been reading in "Ina May's Guide To Childbirth" Your pelvis is not one solid mass of bones, but it's actually four bones, connected by tendons and ligaments (which is how it is possible for a baby to pass through - they open up and stretch around the baby).

Re: Shifting pelvic bones?

My pelvis has been separating for months now (OUCH) but I haven't noticed it popping. Maybe that's the beginning of yours starting to separate?
