Earliest a baby can drop?

Hi everyone! I'm 31 weeks and I feel like my baby has already dropped. Is it too early to drop? I may be wrong about him dropping, by my tummy is very full down at the bottom now. What are the signs that he has dropped?
Thank you all

Re: Earliest a baby can drop?

Hello, I am 33 weeks tomorrow and my ultrasound 2 days ago showed that the baby has dropped. Unfortunately he is pushing on my sciatic nerve and i have a pinched nerve feeling every step I take running down my butt and leg! Extremely painful!

Re: Earliest a baby can drop?

I'm 34 weeks and I think I've dropped as well. I have the same symptoms that I did with the first two : more leg cramps (from pressure on the sciatic nerve), needing to urinate more often, easier breathing, and inability to eat a full meal.

Some women drop as early as 28 weeks, but it's extremely uncommon. 32-36 is the average.

Re: Earliest a baby can drop?

Well, my breathing still sucks so I'm not sure that I've dropped yet. I do have more leg cramps though. I go to the doctor next week so I guess he'll tell me if the baby has dropped. Thanks ladies!
