Took a pregnancy test, tested positive. How is this possible?
Ok, I just got over a normal period about 2 weeks ago. I took the pregnancy test because for about 4 days I have been spotting. I tested positive. My period was normal (heavy and 4 days), how can that be. Could this be a false positive test? Is it possible to be pregnant and have a normal period? I don't get it. As you can tell, this was not planned. I'm not on any meds by the way.

Valerie- thank you for your reply! Wow, haveing your period throughout your whole pregnancy and not knowing would be crazy! I'm going to take another one just incase. I knew you could have your period, but I thought that they were usually not normal. This one through me waaaay off! oh yeah, what's the spotting about anyway? Could I be having a miscarrage? There is no cramping just started with spotting, now it's more a brown discharge. I have 2 children by the way. Thank you.
