When you are pregnant, your cervix gets swollen and more tender and fills with blood. My Dr said a little bleeding isn't uncommon in pregnancy due to these issues. However, that said, if you are worried enough about it then maybe abstain for the rest of the first trimester. The best way to find out if your pregnancy is viable is to have an early u/s done and see the heart beating. If it's over 90 at 6 weeks then everything looks good!!
