Just curious. At what point did you start going to the DR every 2 weeks? I am 32 weeks and I started going every two weeks at 30 weeks. Just wondered what most DRs do?
My midwife tells me new guidelines in the uk say you only need to be seen by the midwife 7 times in your pregnancy, plus your 2 u/s. you don't see the ob unless you are high risk. So i guess from now on that works out i will see her every 4 weeks till the end i am 20 weeks at present
Typically my Dr. would start seeing her patients every two weeks at 32 weeks, but she's been seeing me every two weeks since i was about 26 weeks. I assume that this is because i've been suffering a very bad headache since then and this way she can keep a closer eye on me and my BP since i'm likely to blow off any high blood pressure related headache.
I went every four weeks until I was 30 weeks, then every 2. This Monday is my last two-weeker, then I go every week (36 weeks). Hopefully that will only be one appointment cause I'm ready to get this show on the road!

This doesn't sound safe to me. Towards the end is when you really need to see your doctor. Its best for the docs to keep a close eye on you and baby when things are nearing end. Right or wrong?
