I was just wondering how far along does one have to be in order for the hubby to start feeling the kicking that I think I am feeling? I am always worrying because I never know exactly what I should be feeling and when. I am going into week 21 as well.
I first felt movements at around 16 weeks. My partner was able to feel these just a few weeks after. This is my second pregnancy and I hear you can feel the kicks slightley earlier with a second pregnancy
I'm pregnant with my second and I felt the first kicks with this one by 14 weeks. With my first I was feeling them by 16 weeks. I'm curently 22 weeks and my DH can feel the baby and even see when and where it moves, he started feeling the baby only last week. It also depend on the mom's size too. Don't forget that the baby movements get stronger week by week just because the bones of the baby get harder, the size of baby does not mater regarding the movements.
Hey there! I didn't really feel the baby till about 22 weeks - then each week or day you will notice a difference! my hubby just felt the baby kick at 25 weeks!
it all depends on your body and sometimes the baby is facing toward your back so they are kicking and poking that way instead.... so you wouldn't feel it like you are thinking you normally would.
I felt my first flutter at 18 weeks. I'm now 22 weeks and he's kicking like crazy! I even seen my tummy move, hubby hasn't felt it yet but hopefully will soon:-D My sister's dr. said some women don't fell full on kicks till about 24 weeks.
Okay, I must have a crazy little guy in my tummy...
This is my first pregnancy and I felt the first kick at 15 weeks, started seeing the kicks at 15 weeks and dh could feel them at 16 weeks. At 19 weeks I went in for my first ultrasound half expecting them to say I was a month further than I thought because both dh and I would watch my tummy and see huge kicks and could also see him turn around. The doctor said I was in fact 19 weeks, and the reason I could see so much was because I'm small. I'm 25 weeks now and I like to watch him and talk to him while he does his baby gymnastics after dinner. It looks pretty crazy. Just this past week I saw/felt him get the hiccups. That was cute.
I am 17wks prego with my second and I have been feeling it move everyday now for a few weeks. I felt it's first movement around 12 wks and I can feel the kicks on the outside as of yesterday! Hubby has yet to feel it though. I have some extra loose skin and fat on my tummy still from my first one so he may not be able to distinguish the movements as well as I can.
With my first I was 16 wks when I felt the first movements and 22 wks when my dh could finally feel them!
