OK I am around 32 weeks. Just recently my stomach feels more sore, tender, sometimes upset... I guess this is all to be expecting the further you go... just wondering though if it is indeed "normal"? LOL! It really aches sometimes - especially when I want to get up from a chair or get out of bed or turn over in bed. Let me know thanks! Is it my stomach muscles aching?
BTW... I recently 2 days ago accidentally let the door knob to my front door hit me in the left middle side of belly - during a frantic package delivery situation... ouch! and its still tender!! and then the same night my 100lb dog jumped on my right middle side of belly with her two front paws... GEEZ.. poor baby - !! I felt and still feel so bad.
I dont know but Im in my second trimester 24 weeks and my stomach is already sore I think I am going through a growth spurt.
Oh and just to make you feel better I just fell flat on my face the other day and landed directly on my tummy and got a huge bruise on my leg. I went to the doctor for the bruise because my family has issues with getting blood clots in their legs and he said there has to be alot of trama for the baby to have any effect. He said he is floating in a pool and there is not much that can hurt him.
OK its getting worse. I am now wondering how long braxton hicks contractions can last? Mine are a while at times... atleast BH is what I THINK it could be... sometimes I know its BH now - because like I have read your stomach muscles harden/tighten and it moves from top of tummy to lower in about 20-30 seconds etc.
But now I am experiencing LONGER bouts of stomach being super hard at the top just under my breasts about 3-4 inches across and down to my belly button... this can last like 20 min. or so and I only get rid of it by sitting down. sometimes the area that is hard feels numb too - what is this????? is it BH?
yes, dont worry thats exactly what it is, if it becomes rythimic I would go in and get checked there is such thing as having painless contractions, my SIL had them, however the fact that it just stays hard isnt rythimic, so I would freak out just yet, lol
I'm 27 weeks and I'm VERY sore in my lower abdoman. It's worse when I've been walking or on my feet for a long time. It also seems to hurt when I get up in the middle of the night to pee. It's a pressure and ache all at the same time.
OK well I am So uncomfortable... I can't sit or walk its SO hard.... i finally had my belly loosen for about 10 min. and I could feel the baby in the middle of my stomach nad it was hard but fine... she is moving still... And then 10 min. was up- and the hardening starting again from the top of my stomach and its hard past my belly button now - been going on for 40 min. what the heck????
this is braxton hicks? I have had about 20 min. total of a relaxed belly since 7am this morning and its now 130pm....
The nurse just called me to check in - she said it sounds like the baby is "balling" up and to keep my appt. in 2 more days.... at first she said - why don't you come in - and then hesitated and said well - just keep resting and come in in 2 days at your regular appt. I don't know about this.
I called back again - and I am going in tomorrow morning to see the Doc. I am a little upset because the nurse kept using the term "the baby just seems to be balling up" inside - and when I looked this up - its a sign of pre-term labor. geez. I am really hoping this isn't the case and I wish she had chosen her words differently but what can ya do.
My back is hurting now - kinda spasm like on the right lower side... I am just going to continue to take it easy and rest and go in tomorrow morning. My stomach is just so so so tight like the skin will break. but of course it isn't going to do that - LOL! OH boy... I am sure its nothing I just wish I got in today to confirm that - just one more night to go... this will be my third day and each day has gotten worse.
