Tummy

I have had issues withmy tummy lately, I was constipated and now it is soft(sorry if tmi) and it is not much. I am worried some is stuck in there! I ate some prunes, I really can't stand them. What do you all have to say?
Carly
p.s. on a good note went to get my 4-d non diagnostic u/s and the baby is so beautiful, She is thick already, I have only gained 10 pounds. She was sucking on the cord.

Re: Tummy

I had the same issues, I was worried maybe some blockage had happened somehow. My Dr said it was fine to take a "soft, womans" laxative. Did the trick too. I can't stand prunes, they make me sick and don't work, YUCK! Hope this helps

Re: Tummy

Milk of magnesia is also safe. Just remember that if you take too much it's a laxitive, but if you start in small doses (I start with 10 ml's) then it's a stool softener.

Re: Tummy

I took Correctol from Eckerds. It was cheap and the dr said any soft lax. would be ok, to just not overdue the pills. I haven't had to take another one (crossed fingers). They didn't make me crampy or my stomach bad feeling like most laxatives do so I really liked that about it.

Re: Tummy

Thanks, I am worried, I don't have a tummy ache or anything. I guess I will try a stool softener and see if It helps.
I really appreciate it
Carly
