Hello I am almost 13 weeks pregnant. Since the beginning of my pregnancy when I streach or cough or sneeze I get a shooting cramp in my lower abdomen. It goes away after a few seconds. I read this could be round ligament pain and is just from my uterus streaching. I asked my doc and she said most women do not get round ligament pain until the second trimester. Well I am pretty close to being there and they are more frequent now. Has anyone else had these and is it round ligament pain??Thanks a bunch ladies!!
I had these a lot and I noticed them early too. I got them a lot when just shifting in bed, sneezing, etc. Sounds exactly what it is to me. When you're that early on, the baby is just making room to be comfy. So, in turn, you will not be so comfy Totally normal
i had these real early too maybe your doc is going too much by a book and has never carrieda child of their own. yes you et them more the further pg you get it feels like stitch, or hurts more when sneezing etc. but i had them from almost the beginning.
I have been having round ligament pains ALOT. I had them really bad one morning and I did not think I would be able to get up and move around. The nurse at my ob said that they can sometimes be worse than labor. My mil saw me trying to walk the other day when I was having a pain and she starting laughing and said that I was finally walking like I was pregnant.
