Has anyone else experienced this?

OK I've gotta know if anyone else has experience this: MY BELLYBUTTON HURTS!!! It feels like there is pressure coming from the inside (which would make sense) but I have never heard of this before. It's almost like someone has poked the inside of it. The pain isn't severe but it definitely hurts and is uncomfortable!

my bellybutton hurts on and off too. It feels like someone is poking it with a needle, it is very uncomfortable. I am only 23 weeks but it is almost all the way out. it does look weird, i guess i just never thought I'd see my belly button this way

Re: Has anyone else experienced this?

Well my bellybutton does bother me often as well, and I asked my doctor about it because it got to the point that sometimes I could not touch my bellybutton because it would bother me so much. He said that you have nerves around your bellybutton from when you had your umbilicial cord and that the babies could be pressing on it and making it hurt. I am currently 32 weeks pg with twins so it seems that someone is always in my belly button. Hope I helped.

Re: Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, thank you all for your replies! I asked my doctor yesterday at our appt. and she said it was completely normal for my bellybutton to feel that way and that it's caused from all of the pulling and stretching going on. That made me feel a lot better but it is still a symtom that I could do without, it's sooo uncomfortable! And by the way everything is going GREAT! We were able to see a heartbeat and the baby measured 10mm!!! My edd is August 24th!
