Question UTI affecting HPT reading?

Hi, I'm new here

I have a UTI at the moment and don't have a doctors appointment til Monday, last night I did a home pregnancy test as I am at least 2 weeks late... but it was negative?

I was just wondering if anyone else has experience in this situation?

I'd love any help on the matter, thanks

Re: UTI affecting HPT reading?

I had a UTI at the time I took mine, and wound up getting false negatives for almost a month. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but once it was cleared up, I got my first positive. I've never thought of any correlation with that but maybe I'll check with my dr.
