Has anyone had to take beta blockers during pregnancy for one reason or another? I've been on a medication to stop my contractions and it makes my heart just take off--like I've had 2 triple shot esspressos, so, he put me on beta blockers to calm it down. Recently, he reduced my medication and I just quit taking the beta blockers because I didn't really need them anymore. Anyone with experience think it's okay just to stop? I feel fine...I was just wondering if anyone else had the need for beta blockers and if there were any rules for stopping or starting.
I'll call my doc if I don't hear from anyone, but I wanted to post here first because I've already called doc twice this week (plus an appt.) and I've started to feel like I'm annoying. I bet he can't wait for me to just deliver already LOL!
