spotting

I had some spotting (or bleeding?) in the middle of the night. I am freaked out. It wasn't much, and I know I did the same in previous pregnancies. I am still scared. I am calling the doctor today just to be on the safe side...anyone else have spotting? Julie

Julie, How far along are you? Try not to freak out, as you already know, spotting can be normal for some pregnant woman. As long as you have had NO OTHER symptoms (such as cramping) you should be fine.

Go ahead and call your OB when their office opens and make an appt or just talk to someone to get some reassurance that it will be ok.

Good luck to you Sweetie!

Re: spotting

Did you have intercourse? This has happened to me each time we had intercourse. Very little brown light pink when I wipe. It happened to me with my first pregnancy too which made me go out and rent a doppler to ensure the heartbeat of the baby was still there. It help re-assure me. Yes, I am spotting to again with this pregnancy (no cramps), but I am not as concerned, because I did with my first actaully at one point red blood (had bad cramping), and he is a healthy 8 1/2 month baby boy.~

I would call your dr.and let them know. Sometimes they will do an ultrasound to see what is happening.

Take Care,
Angellica~*
