Well, I've decided to take a trip. A very looooong trip. I'm flying home on Wednesday for a short visit. (about 18 hours in the air, with two short lay overs) I've spoken to my doctor here, and my old GPs at home. All of them gave me the go ahead for flying.
I don't have any concerns about flying - I've worked them all out. I've made sure that there's absolutely no risk to my little babe inside. I'm just a little sad that I have to go alone. My poor dh has too much on his plate to be taking this vacation with me. And it's the last chance I have to visit home for a long time. We haven't been home in over a year.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice about flying during pregnancy or with an infant. It's great having you guys around!
Wish me luck - no doubt I'm going to be extremely uncomfortable there and back, but I'm sure seeing my family and friends will be well worth it!
