New with question!

Hi everyone, I am brand new to this site and I have a question if anyone could help me. My husband concieved on Dec 10th "05. I miscarried our baby on January 18th "06. On february 18th I got my period, which was exactly 1 month after my miscarriage. Now it is March 21st and I haven't even had a cramp yet (which is extremely odd b/c I usually have unbearable ones 5 days before I get my period). I am now three days late! My husband and I tryed about 2 wks ago again, and I am wondering if I am pregnant. But I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came up "not pregnant". Was it too early to take the test?

Thanks!
Jackie

Re: New with question!

It could be too soon...it took me 3-4 days of being late to even get a faint result this pregnancy. I too m/c'd last spring and was 8-9 days late and still only got a faint positive. After that my cycles were out of wack. The first was normal and I thought I was pg again but then af showed up. The next one was normal to light, stopped after 4 days, had 3 days of nothing and then started up again for 4 more days. And then 11 days later I got it again...I'd never had a cycle less than 30 days and that one was 22. After one more cycle, which was normal, we conceived and I am now 30+ weeks.
I would wait another few days and if you still don't have it then I would take another test.

Re: New with question!

I would wait another few days also, with my dd, the test showed poitive the day after I missed my period, with my ds, I had a m/c (I think) in October 04, Then found out when we came back from disney, I was PG, a week after missing my period. give it a few more days, and use the first urine of the day, it has a higher concentration of hcg in it. good luck

Re: New with question!

Thank you guys so much for the info! The thing that boggled my mind was that I had an actual period exactly when I was supposed to after I miscarried, and it didn't seem right that it didn't come when it was supposed to this month. Oh well, I guess only time will tell! I will wait another 5 days or so, and if I don't get my period I will take another hpt! Thanks again!
