My sweet little girl was born at 6:51am on Sunday morning weighing 6 lbs 14.2 ounces. Her labour was very short. Early Sunday morning I had a nice long shower before going to bed for the night. I laid in bed around 2:45 am and had my first contraction shortly after that. I wasn't exactly sure if it was the real thing or not so I just tried to get some sleep. After feeling a few more contractions I decided I had better start to time them. So at 3:00 I started timing them and was shocked to find out they were coming every 2-3 minutes and lasting 45-75 seconds. So after half an hour of timing the contractions I woke up my DH and I called the hospital. The hospital tried to tell me that because it was my first baby I should still stay at home for a few more hours, but I told them I was coming in. We got to the hospital at around 4:45 and by that time I was already 6cm dialated. At 6:30 am I was ready to push, and she was born at 6:51am. I didn't have any tearing or need stiches either. We came home form the hospital on Tuesday and had her first drs visit today. She's already gained back all her birth wieght.

wow, you had a fast labor. that is so awesome.
this is my third and i think she will come pretty quick to.
