Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

Congrats on your BFP!! Join the lovely world of pregnancy! LOL. It is normal, and no, I doubt you are getting sick. Well, you are; just not the type of sick you think. Tylenol is fine. Just don't overdo them.

Best of luck to you!!

Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

The nausea is normal, unfortunatley. Mine lasted from before I tested until my 3rd month and it usually was an all day thing. Hang in there-

Try to eat something, even if it is something bland like crackers or something. You and the baby need food.

Have you made a dr. appt?

Tylenol is ok to take, it is safe! Stick with the regular strength, close those eyes and get lots of rest!

Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

Congrats!

I, too, suffer from nausea -- almost every day and when it comes its for most of the day. I find it's worse when I'm between meals (more than 2 hours out). So, I've just started eating more frequently... for me it doesn't matter what it is (for the most part) as long as something is in my stomach.

No vomiting, though! Yay!

Well once you go to the dr., you may feel a little more at ease....

Do you think your parents will take it ok?

Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

i hope they will.
my mom loves babies but i dont know if shes going to love her baby having a baby.
i know she's going to be mad at me but i think she'll come around because she loves me and my boyfriend.

my dad on the other hand, might take a little longer to come around.. thats why i'm planning to tell my mom first.

Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

Well from the sounds of it, your parents are going to be just fine! They will probably be shocked but they sound like supportive people, who will love you just the same

Talking Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

I'm married and 29 years old, this is my first pregnancy and I WAS SCARED...so I know you must be very scared...just remember what I said because your parents will be ok....they love you and they'd rather you tell them, then try to hide it, or do something silly.....

Once they know, you will have a big WEIGHT lifted off your shoulders...I think it is a good idea you want your boyfriend there too. He is a part of this and needs to keep up on his part of the responsability....support makes all the difference! Keep us posted! I'm glad I could help!

Re: sick-is it due to pregnancy?

I feel your pain..well..nausea! Yep, all day everyday. It's there to greet me in the morning and bids me farewell at night! Which by the way, there is an old wives tale floating around that says if you eat a few saltines and drink some water before you get out of bed in the morning it will do away with your morning sickness..tried it, didn't work. I am almost 9 weeks and I am feeling worse by the day. I am looking forward to geting out of my first trimester, i've heard and read a lot that says usually the first trimester is the worst and it gets much better in your second, then your last is a little crazy, which is understandable. So hang in there like me i guess and know that it should be getting better soon.
Good luck with everything..
