| What is this spotting?
I am now 12 weeks into my 3rd pregnancy and 3 days ago I started experiencing slight spotting, but only when I went to the loo, and it only came out in my discharge. It stopped after an hour or so and the following day I had my 1st scan booked. I told the sonographer about the spotting, but she didn't say anything and we saw that the baby was fine and I saw the heartbeat. Now though today, 2 days after the scan, the spotting has just started back up. I am not experiencing any cramping or pain, and it is only coming out when I go to the loo again, in my discharge. I didn't have this with my previous 2 pregnancies. I was just wondering if anyone else had this at all, and if so, what caused it? Also, what could be possible causes for bleeding at this stage in pregnancy? I am going out of my mind here with worry? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
