Question Level II Sonogram and too much fluid

What is the purpose of a level II sonogram? I was told I have too much
amniotic fluid and at my normal ultrasound last week, the baby was 6.5-6.8 lbs. (I'm 37 weeks tomorrow). I was just called by the hospital to schedule a level II sonogram for Thursday. This shocked me because my doctor said nothing about it. When I called the office, the nurse said she didn't know why, either. So, anyway, I decided to read up on the internet and all that did was scare me....too much fluid could mean diabetes, down syndrome, cleft palate..anemia...fifth disease...etc..etc..etc....(I already had the down syndrome blood test and passed, meaning no down syndrome). Nobody ever previously told me my baby looked like she had a problem. I do have an induction scheduled for the 26th. I thought maybe they required a level 2 for that. (With my signs, though, I think I'm going to give birth very soon).

Has anyone else had any experience with this sort of thing? I'm worried now.
