i felt something strange going on at about 14.5 weeks and was paying a lot of attention to it after that. the same feeling (to me, it felt like tiny little bubbles coming to the surface at first) got more obvious over the next weeks (gentle flicks to my inside lower abdomen or like i posted in an earlier thread like you have to hold in gas
) and now at 18.5 weeks we in our Oct. thread determined it was definitely feeling like a fish swimming around in there.
this is my first baby, i'm 36 years old and i don't consider myself thin, so i guess i'm either just very intune with my body or the baby is just optimally positioned for me to feel him/her so much so soon, or maybe it's a combo of both. what i was looking for was whether it happened in the lower abdomen in the front, and it always did. so i knew it couldn't be gas
but yes, i guess the norm for first time moms is between about 20-25 weeks, so i heard. the moment you know what to look for, the more you will feel your baby.
what i'd like to know is, when will others be able to feel the baby kick?
