Congratulations!

Why do you think that she might be come earlier? They don't usually change the due dates after the first u/s (around 8-12 weeks) since babies start growing at different rates at that point...

Re: Had My Level II Today and We're Having a...

Thanks! This was my 4th u/s. I had one at 6 and 9 weeks, then the nuchal translucency test at 13 weeks to screen for Down syndrome. My due date went from 1/1 at 6 weeks to 12/29 at 13 weeks. I saw my OB at 14 weeks and she said that, according to the wheel, my due date was now 1/3. After the u/s today (at 18 weeks) the due date changed to 12/30. I guess I'm just all over that one-week period, but the tech today said just as you did, that the u/s at 13 weeks was probably the best indicator of my due date, so I'm thinking end of Dec. now.

Congratulations on your daughter. I am having a boy, and very glad (teenage daughter in the throes of puberty ) Did everything look good on the level ll ? I thought mine kinda sucked, very "medical" not much baby time. But I guess the purpose is the numbers, thats all the doc was worried about. Are they going to repeat yours? I had mine at 19w1d and will go back at 32 weeks for a repeat. How are you feeling?

Thanks for your kind comments, ladies You know, after I wrote the message I realized I forgot to comment on the anatomy part of the u/s--which is what we were most worried about! They said everything looked really good. Basically, the doc spent all of 10 seconds in the room saying "It looks great--you were the easiest patient I saw today." They are not planning to repeat the ultrasound--just regular doc appts from here on out. We did have names selected in case of either gender--so it looks like we are going with Katelyn Maria after our grandmoms. Manchak--congrats on your girl, and mum2three--way to go on getting the boy! DH has said we have to get her the pink Barbie corvette.
