coloscopy during pregnancy
my daughter is almost 7 months pregnant and is scheduled to have a coloscopy to remove bad cells on her cervix at her next drs. appt. should this procedure be done if she is considered high risk.

I think she should probably get a second opinion. How long has it been going on? What did her pap show (mild, moderate, severe dysplasia?) Did they say why they can't wait until after the baby is born?

I had severe dysplasia and refused the colpo due to risks associated with that procedure during pregnany. Especially that far along. I'm a little shocked that the dr suggested she have it done.
