sore ribs :(

SORE RIBS !!! Awww my lord. Just started today, its on bot sides. It's just an achy pain... on both sides..stretching around to my back. I assume this is from the baby growing... or something? What is it from.... how do i fix it? Or at least feel better?

Btw, 26weeks along now. Just so you had an idea of how big the baby was.

Dohhhhh the pain !!

Re: sore ribs :(

MMMMMEEEEEEEE TTOOOOOOOO! im 25 weeks and i think itstarted about a week ago for me but getting worse these past few days... so far ive done nothing for the pain but bought some regular strength tylenol incase i cant handle it someday. all the organs are being pushed up and the pressure of the baby so its normal but also the rib cage expands 2-3cm throughout the pregnancy to allow moer air into the lungs... not fun i know

Re: sore ribs :(

I don't have the sore ribs, but I am having trouble catching my breath. This has been for the past 2 weeks, I am also 25 weeks. I would assume from the same thing (baby moving up). That means we are geting closer

Arrow Re: sore ribs :(

The baby is growing and moving upwards in your body causing you the discomfort that you are feeling. I would always take a bath to relieve the pressure or when I sat down I would usually just apply pressure to the achy area with my fingers. It is something that you will have to unfortunately deal with. Hopefully the baby will drop and maybe provide you with some relief, but I know in my case that didn't happen and I felt it until the end.

Re: sore ribs :(

I'm 35 weeks and I'm sorry to say that the rib pain doesn't get better. I drive a lot for my job and that seems to make it worse as well. I just try to sit up very straight and rub that area and it seems to help a little. Hang in there.
