I am 13 weeks and getting headaches almost everyday. BP is normal and no blurry vision. Anyone else get lots of headaches?? Are they from incressed hormones??
Yup. Sorry, just another thing to deal with. In weeks 13 through 18, I had headaches almost every day, but they've since faded to more manageable proportions -- might lighter headaches, much less frequently.
Oh my gosh I get them too! I will be 16 wks tomorrow, and I have been getting one or two every day now for like 2 wks! I never had headaches b4 I got pg, so I am not used to them. But they sure kill. Sometimes it helps to eat a little something, preferably with protein in it. Good luck to you ladies, and I guess a way of looking at it is picturing that little face looking up at you when you deliver him/her. It is so so worth it!!
I had headaches too during the first trimester. I also suffered migraines before getting pregnant. What helped me were extra strength Tylenol combined with a cold shower and sleep.
Maybe this will help you all with headaches.
I had HORRIBLE headaches and migraines during weeks 13 to 20. It was miserable. I ended up having my doctor prescribe me Tylenol 3 (with codeine) for when they became unbearable. I promise you it will get better though. The one thing that always made me feel a little better was to lie down with an ice pack on my head or the back of my neck. I slept with one every night. Good luck and I really do hope you get some relief soon!
It's funny, you spend weeks 5 through 12 sick like crazy, waiting for the second trimester. Then when you reach the second trimester you get headaches like crazy. Then you reach the third trimester and you feel as big as a house, Man good thing those kids are so darn cute and sweet, otherwise what are we doing ladies....LOL
