? for new moms

Hello,

I was just curious about how long it took for your baby's cord to fall..
my baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow and cord still there ....I was told in hosp to clean it twice a day with alcohol...other people told me that they were told to just let it dry ( no alcohol )....
any info will be appreciated , thanks a bunch !

Re: ? for new moms

It took 2 weeks and 3 days for my baby's cord to fall off.

it was kind of strange actually, one day it looked completely attached, and the next day it just fell off.

Sousou - Have you gone to the Infant Care thread? I love this thread - the ladies on that board have already had their babies and are dealing with the same issues you are. You have to join the ladies there - they are great!
