Hi

I'm at 27w4d and I just came home from my monthly dr appt. According to my doctor I now have to go every 2 weeks? It seems kind of soon? Or is this normal?

Also I was wondering when about in pregnancy do you start to gain a pound a week? Or.. should... I should say.

One more... what is the recovery time after a vaginal birth? When your completly back to normal. And with a c-section ?

I'm still pretty early in my pregnancy, so I haven't learned much about your 1st & 3rd questions yet. However, I was reading some nutrition guidelines recently and the suggestion was that someone who is pregnant with a singleton should gain 4lbs during the first trimester and then 1 lb per week throughout the 2nd & 3rd trimesters.

One lb. a week starting in the second trimester.

I started going every two weeks at 18 weeks, but due to a large fibroid. They wanted to measure cervical length each time. I think that the third trimester (27 weeks) is when you start going every 2 weeks, then at 34 weeks you go every week...

after my section my recovery time was so short i would not like to guess but about 2 weeks i was going on long walks although in the u.k after section you can't drive for 6 weeks pp.
