sleeping on your belly at 10 weeks

hello,

Is it safe to sleep on your belly at 10 weeks? I sometimes do that and I was not certain about it until my cousin told me its not good.

Please advice. Thank you all.

HI Liberty & congrats on your pregnancy! I am 37 weeks right now but I slept on my stomach until I was 7 months. I was very small up until about 3 weeks ago.:) Now I can't sleep on it!!!! LOL But anyway my doc said it was fine. The baby is well protected. She said sleeping on your left side is really the best but if you can put a pillow between your legs or kinda under your belly a little bit when your on your belly that would help! Good luck! Enjoy the belly sleeping while you can!;)

As long as you are comfortable... That was the point when it started to feel weird to lie on my stomach for me.

I'm 25 weeks now and went to the beach this weekend. I dug a small hole under our blanket that was big enough for my belly and was able to lie like that for a little while so that I wasn't white on the back and tan on the front. :)
