i have been extreamly emotional lately due to everyday probs that everyone has and was concerned about this having an effect on my unborn child!! i cry a lot and have to concentrate on my breathing so i dont hyperventalate. is this a concern to anyone else or should it be a concern to me??
Geez, I think I cried everyday when I was pg with DS, just from hormones. I would wake up at night and cry for hours on end for no reason. I was always upset and crying and I think my DS turned out just fine.
I don't know about excessive stress, but my understanding is that research shows babies are actually better off when their mothers experience mild stress during pregnancy than when they report having stress-free pregnancies.
I wouldn't worry about the hyperventilating either, unless you're fainting on a regular basis.
