Question 21 weeks pregnant with protein in urine?????

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. My first pregnancy I had vision problems, and I was induced at 37 weeks due to really high blood pressure that started at 23 weeks. I've had really high blood pressure starting very early in this pregnancy and they started me on pills to lower it. For the past 2 weeks or so my blood pressure is lower then normal, but I've still been having spotted vision, very very dizzy (almost fainting), pains in my abdomin, pains in upper chest area making it hard to breathe, and pains in my upper back.. I went to the dr. yesterday and I forgot to check my urine for protein/glucose then after the visit on the way out I checked it and for the first time there was 30-100mg of protein in my urine, glucose came back neg. Last pregnancy the only time I had protein in my urine is the day they induced me.. I've been checking at home everytime I go pee, and it's still coming back with protein.. now.. I'm not sure if I should worry or not.. I've been reading about it on the internet and I've found out it could be a number of things.. Urinary tract infection (Which I have no symptoms), kidney problems, heart problems (I've been having chest pain and hard to breathe, not sure if it has anything to do with that but...) or pre-eclampsia.. My guess would be more towards the pre-eclampsia because of the blood pressure and previous pregnancy.. but I'm not sure because for the last 2 weeks my blood pressure has been low with the help of medication.. Can someone give me some advice or something?? I don't really want to go to the hospital unless I have to because they'll probably keep me for 24 hours or so and I have a 14 month old daughter at home to care for.. So could someone please tell me anything??? Should I be worried???

Re: 21 weeks pregnant with protein in urine?????

sounds like pre eclampsia to me. that is what i had with DS and i am getting it with this one. Protein in the urine was the sure sign to my drs that that is what it was plus the headaches vision problems and that. I'd talk to your dr about it. And I'm surprised they didnt tell you that is what it was with your first one. I'd ask your dr get answer on that!! Since they induced you with your first...I'm really surprised that isn't what they told you.
