cjwilson80 Junior Member (female) Join Date: May 2007 Location: St. Louis, MO USA Posts: 47	5 Weeks Preg. Had Gastric Bypass 5 years ago - anyone else? Hi Everyone! I'm 5 weeks prego and had Gastric bypass surgery just a little over 5 years ago. I was wondering if anyone on this board has had gastric bypass surgery and how their pregnancy is progressing. I'm a little nervous about being able to get enough nutrients and such because of the way my intestines are re-routed. I take vitamins daily and drink lots of water, but is that enough? Any thoughts / advice on this topic? I also developed abdominal adhesions from the surgery which give me trouble from time to time. I worry that when I start to get bigger if that will aggrivate the adhesions and cause more problems. Thanks Court
