Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

Hi there,

With my first pregnancy, I didn't feel any definite movement until about 17 weeks or so, and that's exactly what it felt like--little flutters. It basically felt exactly like what you would expect a baby moving inside you to feel like! But with this pregnancy I have been feeling a lot of stuff going on with my uterus already (I'm 7 weeks). And I know it can't be the baby moving, but it's probably just me being aware of my body changing. I'm imagining that it's muscles and ligaments stretching.

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

with my first pregnancy I was 18 weeks until I felt movement and it was just once in a while, every few days and then it got more frequent. I am 15 weeks now with my 2nd and I just started feeling little flutters here and there but just every once in a while.

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

I'm around 16/17 weeks along, and I'm almost positive what I'm feeling is the baby moving. It does feel like a quick little flutter. It's my first pregnancy, but I've been feeling this the last couple weeks, and don't know what else it could possibly be!? Even though from what I've read, it's still a bit early to feel movement in a first pregnancy, isn't it?

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

it would be way too early to feel movement...in the first month the baby is tiny like a period at the end of the sentence....

with my first pregnancy, i didn't feel movement til about 20-22 weeks...

even with this pregnancy, at 13 weeks, i don't feel anything. the baby is less than 5 inches in length....

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

This is my first pregnancy and I felt my little girl move for the first time in week 15. Daddy could feel her move at week 17. I am now 21 weeks and you can look at my belly and see all the movements.

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

No one seems to beileve me but I felt my babies at 9 weeks.....my Dr said it's more than possible he said with multiples you can feel them early and since they start kicking and moving at 7 weeks 9 weeks it very likely.....I've only felt it once but it was obvious enough I stopped to feel it....I'm 9 weeks 5 days now.

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

I'm 13 weeks and I absolutely feel the baby move. I did this early with my son, too. It feels like a small gas bubble rolling slowly from one side to the other. It so amazing!

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

With my first son, I was like 12wks when I felt him move, and then with my second son, he moved around 7 wks, but then got lazy and didn't really move much after that....

I'm pregnant now, and I'm thinking I'm around 4-5 wks but I don't know for positive... and I know its just my imagination that I've already think I've felt the baby flutter......

Re: when do you start to feel the baby move?

I felt movement at 16 weeks (at 18 weeks you could see my belly jumping), which is considered early for a first pregnancy, but she was so active the entire pregnancy, and still is at 4 1/2 months old. Her legs are also kicking and moving!
