We are having a boy in June, and we are still debating whether to circumcise him or not. I've been told good and bad things on both sides of the issue, but I'd really would love to know your opinion on the matter.
The way I see it, circumcision is better for hygiene issues that might arise when a boy is an infant, but just thinking about having him go through that breaks my heart (yes, I know, it's not like it's that traumatic for them in the end, but still...)
I'm getting really excited about our little boy. At first I was convinced we were having a girl, and two weeks ago they proved me "oh so wrong!". But now I can't imagine not having a boy. I hope I don't make him a total "momma's boy" (I want him to be strong and independent). That's going to be hard, being as I'm going to want to coddle (and cuddle) him until he's in college!!!
