Ok so I have got the new one going. Hope everyone is well. Had a little scare this morning. Started to spot and have cramps. Called the midwife and she sd that this could happen this early especially after intercoarse. This is pregnancy #6 for me and hopefully baby #2. I am almost 10 weeks now. I really hope everything stays well here.
Any sort of bleeding would definitely have me scared out of my wits too. No matter how many times people tell you something is normal, it still doesn't stop the worry! I hope everything turns out ok for you. I'm sure it will! I'm now a little over 7 weeks and go in for my first u/s today. I'm so excited but also a little nervous. I just want everything to be ok - so wish me luck...I will let you know how it goes!
Just got done with the 1st u/s and everything looks great. Got to see the little heart beating which was so cool! I measured 7 weeks, 6 days so I will be due January 16th. I'm so excited! It suddenly seems a lot more real now...
Thats great news!!!! I am only due a day or two before you!!!! I am glad you got to see the babys HB!! Did you get to hear it??? I have an APPT. tomorrow at 11:15 so I will be posting an update shortly after.
Hi ladies. Everything seems to be fine with me. I am starting to feel the stretching in my lower abdomine, baby is growing yay. It has been a crazy week so far at work. the first week and the last week are the worst at work. the first week we are crazy busy with calls then it calms down then the last week all the supervisors are sweating out if we are going to hit goals and they are really pushing us all and stressing everyone out. But hope everyone is doing well.

hey bridget, I had my scan today and it is so amazing how fast they grow i mean last week it looked like a bean with a tail and now it looks as though it has trippled in size!! I am so excited. well I was kinda sick yesterday and today minor headache the smell of dirt makes me throw up ( I live in New mexico and it's the windy season right now) I think we are going to be moving in about 3 weeks or so. My hubby and I travel with our company building Power Plants all over the US. I still dont know how i am going to manage to pack and move being a high risk pregnant chick (LOL). anyway hope all is well with everyone,mandy
We didn't get to hear the heartbeat, just see it on the u/s. Isn't it too early to hear at this point? I thought it was, but I may be wrong. Someone I know has an at home doppler that she said I could borrow (she just had her baby) - so I think I will go get it and see if I can hear anything. That would be so cool!
miss, my baby sister said that she bought one of those dopplers and she couldnt hear her baby till she was 5-6 mos. and even then she would sometimes not find it and it would freak her out and she would go to the hospital!! My sis is very thin so its' not like she had alot of fat to go through. but that was with her first pregnancy. she just had another baby boy and she didnt use the home doppler because she didnt want to get freaked out. So i am just lettin ya know that if you dont hear it or find it everytime it might freak you out, mandy
Yeah, I've thought about that with the home doppler. Maybe it's best just to hear at the Dr's office. I searched and found out that you can't really hear it with one of those things until 12 weeks anyway, and I'm only 8 right now. I would probably obsess like your sister did and stress myself out anyway!
thats great fallen!!!! I am now 8 weeks 2 days. i love to see my baby growing every week. I am also an obsessor!!!! I get a U/S pic every week and I compare it to the ones you find on the net!!!! I get real excited when my baby looks bigger than the one that is the same age on the net!! I cant help it!! anyway I hope all is well with all of you january mommies!!!mandy
Is anyone else having trouble with clothes fitting? I'm 8 weeks now, and find most my pants to be extremely tight, and forget about bending over. My family thinks I'm crazy when I comment that my pants don't fit, but they aren't preggo either. Is anyone else already in or getting ready to start wearing maternity clothes or stuff that's a bit bigger than you were wearing prepreggo? I just want to be reassured that I'm really not crazy!
well i havent even gained a pound!! and my clothes dont fit!! the only time i wear my jeans or shorts is if i go to the store but i always leave them unbuttoned!! i wear a big shirt or a flare shirt (looks like a maternity) when i wear my jeans or shorts. I also get nausous if i wear my regular jeans.
So im officailly a january mom guys! Went to the dr. yesterday and im due january 28th. I even got to see my baby and i saw the hearbeat too! This is too exciting!
I'm almost 9 weeks and I have had the same problem with my clothes not fitting. I can get my looser jeans buttoned, but when I sit down it's really uncomfortable. I have just been wearing a lot of stretchy stuff - and I get to wear scrubs to work, so that's perfect! I haven't gained any weight yet, but I don't think you have to gain weight for your uterus to get bigger. It is exciting to see all the changes in my body - I'm definitely starting to embrace my new shape!
sorry everyone. i have been mia for a while. we are without a computer right now. we are in the process of moving. just wanted everyone to know i might not be on a whole lot.
I hope your move goes well bridget and we will be here when you get back! well ladies I have another appt on tuesday. just to let you all know why i am always talking about my appt and getting excited about them is because i have had so many M/C! I am just as happy as can be with this pregnancy. I have a condition called "lupus like inhibitor" and basically it is "micro clots" so my blood clots cause me to have M/C and my doc just figured that out so I take HEPARIN shots 2 times a day to get my blood thinned. he says that this is my problem and that the heparin should fix it but i am optimistic. I mean I hope it works but I have had so many losses. so I hope y'all can put up with me being so excited to make it from appt to appt or month to month.
