Itchy Rash On Arms?

I am not prone to paranoia - but I get funny about certain things. Is it possible that you can get a few random patches of itchy skin on your arms due to something pregnancy-related?

I don't think I got bitten by any bugs - although I suppose it is possible because I have been outside during the evening time when it is cooler... I don't think I have been in contact with any infectious diseases, and I have had like measles etc so I have some level of immunity to those.

The itching only started about 36-48 hours ago - and just in about five patches in total. Any ideas if it is a pregnancy thing? The skin in those small areas is a bit pinker than the rest...but that could be because I scratched it, lol.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Helen

Re: Itchy Rash On Arms?

being pregnant can definately make you itchy and give you dry skin. i was itching on my back for a while but it eventually stopped. its probably just pink from scratching it. try not to because that is just going to make it start to hurt. put lotion on it and if it doesnt get better then you could always call the dr and see if they know of anything that would work better. if the rash looks like little red dots then it could be PUPPs. its a rash you get when your pregnant. it doesnt cause any harm to you or the baby, its just annoying. you get it mostly on areas of skin that are being stretched but its possible to get it anywhere like arms and thighs. if thats what it is theres nothing you can do except lotion it and try not to scratch. it will go away once the baby is born.
