I am just wondering what is up with my body. I have always been one to have a lot of discharge. When pregnant, it's worse obviously. Well I never had this problem the first time I was pregnant, but have this time around. I have been feeling sort of itchy "down there." I can't tell if it's like a yeast infection. That would be my first thought, but the weird thing is this....it's not every day. One day it will be, then it will go for four or five days and be fine, then back again. What is up with that? Can you just become irritated from the increase in discharge, or is it more likely an infection? I have no other symptoms.

Obviously a trip to the OB will 100% confirm, but you can always get a mirror and take a took for yourself. If it's white discharge that's kinda curdled like cottage cheese or a really milky discharge, sometimes with a funky smell, it could be a yeast infection. Have you take antibiotics lately? That's what gave me one. Mine was itchy all the time until I took the medicine.
My OB recommended Monistat 7 with the smaller dosage (vs Monistat 3 or 1 day).
i would think its just an irritation. i get itchy sometimes down there too. when ive had yeast infections it was a constant itch that didnt let up until i would put the cream on it. monistat 7 day is safe to use so you may wanna try it to see if it helps. they also sell vagisil wipes that you can use if you are itchy on the outside too.
Yeah, I know I should probably just have my OB confirm it. That is why I haven't used anything as of yet because I didn't want to do that without the ok from them first. The consistency of the discharge is the same as always....maybe just slightly more. And the irritation or itching, whichever way you want to say it is only on the outside and only every so often.
