shooting pains

ive been getting these shooting pains in my legs that can be anywhere from in my pelvis all the way down to my toes. i get them in my arms, stomach, and chest sometimes too. is this normal? of course i looked stuff up and got worried about a blood clot but this pain isnt localized to one area or even just one leg so im thinking that if it was a clot i would only hurt where the clot is. its kind of hard to explain but its like an electric shock that only lasts a few seconds.
