is it around 5 weeks and definitely by 6 weeks ?

i'm 6 weeks tomorrow and super curious. i dont have my first u/s for about another 2/2.5 weeks.

When I had my scan at 5w6d there was no hb but when I had my 7w scan it was there beating away. so it happens somewhere in between. I was told at the 5week scan that it would be there in a few days.

You want hear it on the doppler until around 12 to 14 weeks.

Hey Meluca,
I was going to answer this on the Feb post, but I saw your thread! My doctor told me that a lot of times you can't see it on the ultrasound until 7 weeks, so he wouldn't want me to get one until then (just so I didn't worry if I couldn't see it). But I'm sure it's beating around 5 weeks or so. I have to wait 10 more days for my ultrasound (I'll be about 9.5 weeks), and I can't wait to see my little peanut either!

thanks for posting ladies,
with dd we saw it at 6.4 weeks, which for this pregnancy would be in another 4 days.
it's crazy to think about all that our bodies are doing !!
