Weight of baby

I am 28 weeks today. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the tech said the baby weighed 2 pounds 5 ounces. Does this sound right? I just hate waiting until my next appointment before I know if everything was ok on the ultrasound and the tech couldn't tell me anything.

Re: Weight of baby

When I went for an U/S last week, they told me the baby weighed a little over 2 pounds, and I was 28 weeks. The doctor said that was perfectly normal. They are checking me closely because I have GD. So, I think you are all set.

Re: Weight of baby

Ok great! They are monitoring me more closely as well because the baby has a single umbilical artery which apparently can cause low birth weight, so i just want to make sure the baby is growing appropriately.
