I had a m/c on 6/19. 4 weeks ago. I have since conceived again so soon. My OB has me going for hcg testing every two days for the next two weeks. My first test came back at 91 and the next two days later was 287. They are doubling but isnt this number low? The test that came back at 287 was exacty 4 weeks after m/c. I am assuming that I am four weeks pregnant. Anyone had hcg level in the 200's at 4 weeks??
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I know it's not easy. Hopefully you will be comforted to hear your numbers aren't low for 4 weeks preggo. The fact that they are doubling is also a great sign.
My hcg numbers at 4 weeks preggo were 203 & I am currently 21 weeks preggo w/ a healthy baby, so you've definitely got nothing to worry about regarding your current numbers.

I definitely understand your anxiousness. I've suffered two losses in the past, & with this pregnancy, I was simply terrified that something was going to go wrong. But nothing did. All pregnancies are different & you have a very good chance of having a healthy baby this time around. You will still worry, but hopefully all that worry will be for nothing.

My nurse told me that doubling was the key -- the number itself didn't matter. I read somewhere that anything from like 50 to 20,000 is normal. BIG variance, eh? Mine numbers were 64 at 3 weeks and 1900 at 4 weeks. But everyone is different.
Good luck! I had a m/c last August and have been TTCing since then (10 long months). I'm now at 8 weeks and keeping my fingers crossed and being thrilled with the nausea.
but hopefully all that worry will be for nothing.
