| Beginning of Labor?
Hi there Ladies,
This may sound SOOOOOO dumb as this will be my 3rd child. However, the first one my water broke but I did not get contractions, not even really with Pitocin. It was 31 hours of hell, did deliver him, it was a mess...... no need to go over it again.
The second was a planned induction which quickly went to a c-section as the baby was laying sideways.
So I have never went into true labor on my own. However, this AM early I woke up sweating profusly with what I thought may be bad gas pains, but it was different. It felt like my intestines were bloated and hallow, but the pain resinated over my c-section scar and down my legs and went about half way up my uterus. I tried to time them, but they were so sporatic and would last 20 seconds to almost 2 minutes. The baby would move in between the pain. This went on for about and hour and a half and then subsided.
What do you experienced labor and delivery Mom's think? Was it maybe a false start or bad food?
