This is my first pregancy, so I am not used to the breast changes. They have gotten bigger and much fuller. I am 21 wks so for the most part, the pain from growth is gone. However, in the past few days, I have been having really bad shooting pain in my right breast. Its not all the time, it will just happen suddenly, then my nipple will be a little sore. Any ideas on what might be happening?

Your milk ducts are getting prepped for your coming little one, that's all. It's perfectly normal. Just wait until the milk leaking begins!!! You'll really freak out! LOL
In my first pregnancy I had an experience like yours, and then after the baby was born I consistenly got more milk out of my right breast than my left. Go figure.
Fruit loop, The last poster was right i get that all the time. I hate it usually when my nipples hurt i used a warm towel and it goes away. But as for the shooting pain i just have to take it. ever since i was pregnant my nipples have been sooooo sensitive. I dont like anything to touch them. The worse thing is in the car sometimes the seatbelt rubs the wrong way and i almost freak out. one day my shirt rose up with my belly it causes some of my old shirts that are now too small to rise and it sometimes rub my nipple the wrong way and this day i just started freaking out and i had a bad day for the rest of the day.
My bf doesn't understand, to top it off my milk leaks out sometimes (well its mostly clear now) but it dries up and i have to wash it off and i dont even like to touch them sometimes.
