just had a c section

so i just had a c section 3 and a half weeks ago and i wanted to work out. i have been walking about a mile a day but i want to do more like light weights or squats or soemthing. i dont see my doc again until six weeks but i wanted to work out sooner. does any one know if that much exercise is too much for right now or can i do it?

I know this isn't right and all the dr says wait 6 wks but when I had my DS (by c-sections) I did what I felt I was able to do when I felt like I could do it. I went back to work 3 wks after DS was born money was really tight and I had to do my part. I felt that I knew what was to much on my body I was the one that could feel the strain or pulling or if it hurt don't do it again give alittle more time to heal try it again.
I wouldn't go out and start lifting 50lbs or anything just yet but you know what you feel like doing.
This is just what I did it don't work for everyone some people heal faster than other (like me).
