Just found out I was five weeks pregnant yesterday. Happy but this is my first pregnancy so very anxious and would go crazy if anything goes wrong. I have been having low waist pain for two weeks now is this normal? My doctor said it's nothing to worry about but you know how it is when it's your first.
I'm so happy you posted!!! I have been waiting for a post...I didn't want to be the only one! I am 4wks with a EDD of 4/16/09!! I found out really early....7 days before af was due!! This is my first baby too. It happened pretty fast we got pregnant our 2nd month of ttc. I know a few women later in pregnancy that have carpal tunnel syndrome and have to wear wrist splints to help ease the pain.
Do you have your first drs appt yet? Mine is not until 9/8/08.....
I have an estimated due date of April 15th!!! I am 23 and have been married for 2 years, I am in nursing school and this is a very welcome surprise! We were planning on waiting another 2 years but God had different plans and we are very excited!! I have a couple health problems so I have already had an ultrasound and blood work. It was too early to see anything with the ultrasound but my uterus was thickened which is consistent with an early pregnancy and all of my blood work came back normal! I am still worried something might happen but my doctors are very on top of it and I have my next ultrasound on August 26th!
So far, all I have is light cramps like AF, dull headache, can't have a BM because um... well... I'm afraid to push (sorry, TMI) Also, I haven't been hungry today, but the past few days I've been famished! The lack of appetite may be due to all the excitement!
I would love some feedback from you guys!
I'm absolutely thrilled, but nervous as well! This is #1 for me!

Expecting baby #1 EDD April 20, 2009!
FINALLY after about 2-2 1/2 years, i got a BFP! I have endometriosis, so i had been on the pill for the last 6 months. i decided to go off in June, had af, then never got another one! i have a dr's appt on the 29th of this month. i think i'm 6 weeks (edd 4/6/09)...and so excited & nervous! does anyone have a bit of brown spotting? i only get it when i wipe (sorry, tmi!) and only every once in a while. best of luck to everyone!
WOW!!! It looks like it was a good month on the ttc boards....we all moved to the "other side"! I went away for the weekend and came back to more april mommies. I'm so excited.....We all have a fun 8 months ahead of us!!
Is anyone else not into eating? I get hungry, but I feel full quick or there is nothing that seems to appeal to me. My boobs feel heavy and every now and then I have some pain other than that I feel pretty good. When are you going to tell people? I want to wait until after my first ob appt on 9/8.
I'm in my 7th week now and my EDD is the 1st of April 2009.
Had low waist pain for the first six weeks however it seems to be okay now. Looks like the pain is letting off a bit
I am trying not to eat everything in sight, but I am so hungry ALL the time then when I do eat I am full after 3 bites.... Smells are really getting to me the past 2 days. My BB's feel like they are getting in the way of everything. Other than that and feeling super sleeping I am doing pretty good.
that's funny that everyone has the eating issue...i get sooo hungry, but don't want to eat that much once i start. i thought that was strange, i guess i always thought you were supposed to eat like crazy lol! i'm worried because i'm 6 weeks (i think) and bbs still don't hurt or anything & i'm not sick, except when i wait too long to eat i feel a little nausous. i guess i should be glad!!
Hi everybody! Thought I might join this thread since I just found out I am pg...yesterday! I believe my due date will be about April 18th. We are very excited and this is my third pg (my first was twins)- so we have three at home already.
I already feel extremely nauseous (in mornings too, which is unusual for me) and my bbs are pretty sensitive. Anyone else out there feel like they could fall asleep at the wheel? Yikes.
I just got the results back on my 1st blood test. My beta was 686. Progesterone 29. The nurse wants me to get another test tomorrow (48 hrs after the first) to make sure my beta is doubling. Otherwise, everything looks good.
Has anyone else gotten a blood test?

I will get my progesterone results back today. They did not do a beta as they said a HPT is sufficient enough... so I will continue to POAS until my appt on the 15th of Sept! I am on prometrium until I am past 12 weeks... Thank goodness for the meds making me sleepy! I have a feeling that I wouldn't be otherwise.
It looks like I am also going to be an April mommy!! I think my due date is around April 22. I am so excited!! This will be number 2 for us! How is everyone feeling? I'm just starting to have some ms come on a little stronger.
Hello all! I am due April 10...yay!!!!! I am cautiously expecting after a miscarriage last year. Here's hoping this one sticks and that we all have healthy and happy pregnancies.
